Ashley Sansom

Competition Instructor/Recreational Instructor

Ashley has been dancing since the age of three and trained in a variety of styles including tap, jazz, ballet, contemporary, lyrical, and Cecchetti technique. She discovered her true passion for tap dancing at age eleven and continued developing her skills while attending Saginaw Valley State University where she created and led a Tap Troupe for fellow students.

Beyond the dance studio, Ashley has a deep passion for working with children and youth. She is a Licensed Master Social Worker and works full time supporting at risk youth in the community. Her professional experience allows her to bring empathy, structure, and encouragement into the classroom.

Ashley values hard work, positivity, and creating a supportive environment where dancers can grow in confidence and skill. She is proud to be part of the Karen’s School of Dance family and loves helping students discover their passion for dance.
