Ashley Rae McDonald is a talented and inspiring teacher at Karen’s School of Dance who is known for her strong technical training and dynamic style. She encourages students to challenge themselves and continually strive for growth both in and out of the classroom.

Ashley trained at Karen’s School of Dance for over 15 years and was a member of the competitive Dance’Sations team. During that time she earned numerous honors including the title of Miss Dance America 2007, Dance Spirit Magazine’s Future Star of the Year, and selection as one of only twelve dancers nationwide chosen to perform with LA Dance Force’s Dance with the Force. She was also a Top 100 finalist on Season 5 of So You Think You Can Dance.

Professionally, Ashley danced internationally with Stiletto Entertainment aboard Holland America Line’s Eurodam and performed for multiple seasons as a member of the Detroit Pistons Dance Team. She also co coaches the Milford Varsity Pom Team and Shockwave Elite Allstars, bringing her experience and leadership to young dancers.
