One-on-One Personal Training with Equipment for Dancers
This individual training specially designed for dancers is designed to maximize core strength, improve balance and flexibility, and lengthen muscles. Our certified instructors will work with students using several types of equipment.
The Pilates Reformer: Designed to lengthen and strengthen muscles without bulking and putting strain on the body. It promotes better core strength and balance while also helping to improve posture and body alignment. This is especially helpful for dancers to achieve more graceful and efficient movement.
The BOSU: The BOSU, which stands for “both sides up”, is flat on one side and dome shaped on the other in order to provide two types of unstable working surfaces. This unique piece of equipment is excellent for training balance, the core, and various muscles while improving flexibility.
The Foot Stretcher:
This piece of equipment is an effective way to enhance the stretch of dancers’ feet and legs. The Foot Stretcher assists the process of the development and arch of the foot, working not only through the feet, but also the knees and thighs with the accompanying turnout from the hip.
The Foam Roller:
This tool is the perfect complement to a dancer’s active lifestyle. Very often dancers’ fascia (the soft tissue that connects muscles) becomes inflamed and thickens, causing soreness and tightness. The Foam Roller releases that tension so that muscles can remain flexible and healthy.
